Diaspora projects · Kigali, Rwanda
You live abroad and want a home in Rwanda. We manage the whole build from Kigali, handle the paperwork, and show you every step on your phone. No flight for every decision.
The honest worry
Building from far away usually means a phone call, a photo now and then, and a lot of trust. We would rather show you. Every cost, every milestone and every photo from site, where you can see it.
Where you are, where the build is
Your decisions travel one way. Photos, costs and milestones travel back. Pick a city near you to see what time it is there and in Kigali right now.
Pick a city near you Examples, not offices
What we handle
Three things are hard to do from another country. We do all three, so the distance stops being your problem.
Permits, title deeds and registration are ours to handle. We prepare the files, follow them through the offices in Rwanda and keep the papers in order. You are not chasing signatures across time zones.
We manage the project from start to finish: materials, contractors and the work on site. We make bricks, concrete pillars and beams ourselves and import other materials. One company answers for the whole job.
You should not have to ask how it is going. Site photos and video, material costs and finished milestones are recorded in BonaTrack, our own software, for you to open whenever you want.
What you see from abroad
BonaTrack is the software we built to run construction projects. Your build is recorded there, and you can open it on a phone, a tablet or a computer.

How you pay
We accept
No exchange rates on this page, because they change every day. Ask us how your currency is handled when you write.
Payments follow the build. When a stage is finished and recorded, the payment for that stage is released.
You see what you are paying for, stage by stage, and material costs are recorded as the work goes on.
Nothing is added quietly at the end. If the budget is at risk, BonaTrack raises an alert while there is still time to decide.
A stage is done, then its payment is released.

Not only Rwanda
We also take on diaspora projects in other African countries. Tell us the country and the town. We will tell you plainly whether we can build there, and how.
Our prefab units are built off site, shipped and assembled in days. They can be delivered across Africa.
Straight answers
If yours is not here, write to us. An honest “it depends” is better than a promise we cannot keep.
Not for every decision. We handle the permits, title deeds and registration, and we manage the build. You follow it in BonaTrack from where you live.
Some steps may still need your signature or a visit. Ask us which ones apply to your project before you commit to anything.
Through BonaTrack, our construction software. It holds site photos and video, material costs, milestones and contractor tasks, and it raises an alert when the budget is at risk. It works on a phone, a tablet and a computer.

By milestone. Payments are tied to stages of the build. When a stage is finished and recorded, the payment for that stage is released.
It depends on the land, the size of the home and the finish, so there is no price list on this page. Tell us what you want to build and we will give you a clear price with no hidden fees.
No. We are in Kigali. The cities on the map are examples of where Rwandans live, not Bona offices. You reach us by email, and you follow the work in BonaTrack.
Yes. We also build houses and sell them.
We take on diaspora projects elsewhere in Africa too. Tell us the country and the town, and we will tell you honestly whether we can do it.
Start from where you are
Where you live, where you want to build, and what you have in mind. That is enough to begin.
